Carbon Monoxide Alarm With Illness

Stations 221,225 were alerted to Mark Dr for a Carbon Monoxide Alarm. Units Found 60 PPM in the residence. Two People were treated for Carbon Monoxide Poisoning. Both people are ok. Residence was ventilated and cause was found to be a faulty Furnice.

Entrapment Call

On Monday afternoon, stations 221, 225, and 227 were alerted to a car fire at the corner of Verona Rd & Mt. Carmel Rd. Police reported no fire at that intersection, police reported a single vehicle accident in the 4400 block of Verona Rd. The patient was able to leave the car under his own power.

Vehicle into A Structure

At approx. 9am Stations 223,227,225 were alerted to Pheasant Dr for the report of a vehicle into a residence with entrapment and structural collapse. Rescue 227 arrived on scene finding structural damage and negative entrapment, 227 Rescue handled the call and all other units returned.

Residential Structure Fire
 
On Thursday evening Station 225 responded to the third Structure Fire call in a Three day period. At approx. 7:00pm Stations 225 and 227 were called to Lee Dr. for the report of smoke in the residence. Crews from 225 and 227 found heavy smoke in the structure and quickly found and extinguished a fire in the basement. Crews operated on scene with ventilation and overhaul for about 1 hour. good job to all units on scene.

Residential Structure Fire
 
At Approx. 5:00 am Stations 225 and 221 responded to a Residential Structure Fire, Reported bedroom on fire on Frankstown Rd. 225 Eng 1 First on scene with 225 Chief  Taking command. Fire was put out by the resident using 2 fire extinguishers, Fire was place under control. 225 Eng 1 Crew took care of a few hot spots and ventilated the structure with the help of 221 Eng 1. Crews were on scene for about 45 min. Good job to all units!

Residential Structure Fire


Early Monday evening Stations 225 and 221 were alerted for a possible residential structure fire on Howard Street. 225 Asst. First on scene reporting working fire on the second floor of a 2 story residential structure. Crew from 225 Eng 1 made a quick knock down of the fire, with the help of 221 Eng 1 crew. Truck 225 handled ventilation with 221 Eng 2 laying a line to 225 Eng 1. One female was transported with burns to her arms to West Penn Hospital. The cause is being investigated by Penn Hills Foxtrot 1. Great job to all units on scene.
