Station 221, 225 alerted for a residential fire alarm activation. Asst 221, squad with 6 and the service with 4 marked on the air. Dispatch advised alarm company received proper code and fire departments can cancel. Asst 221 held units in quarters. Command spoke to contractor on scene advising they were working on a boiler and set off the alarm. All units returned in service.
