Units alerted for a possible CO/Gas condition inside of a residence. Gas company on scene reporting strong smell of gas outside with possitive CO readings but unable to make contact with resident. While fire units enroute, gas company called dispatch back reporting he made contact with the homeowner, requesting all fire units disregard. 221 Squad and 225 Asst continued to the scene to verify. All units returned in service.
